Job Description:

• The estimating department is responsible for identifying prospective and securing Company work. The estimator will conduct pre-estimate reviews with senior management, secure plans and specs where appropriate, take off quantities and prepare estimates for bid review using Company established systems and procedures. The estimator is responsible for sourcing dependable sources for all project required services and materials.

Education Requirements:

• Prefer minimum Associates Degree in pre-engineering or other related technical discipline
• In special cases, "on the job" education may be substituted.

Experience Requirements:

• 5 or more years experience in our industry estimating roadwork, commercial and/or residential sitework (infrastructure) and/or golf course construction

Special Skills Desired:

• Proficiency using Hard Dollar (EOS or Bid/Build) PREFERRED, HCSS Heavy Bid, Bid-2-Win or QUEST estimating software
• Microsoft Excel - intermediate
• Microsoft Windows XP - working knowledge
• Demonstratable proficiency using AGTEK
• Demonstratable proficiency using Terramodel
• Familiarity with AutoCad systems helpful
