Job Title: Equipment Shop Service Assistant
Job Code Reference: ESSA Job Description - Manage parts inventory
- Initiate automated purchase orders
- Manage and report on automated preventive maintenance system
- Manage automated work order processing
- Mechanic productivity analysis
- Track and manage fuel accountability
- Track and report on equipment utilization
- Equipment warranty management and reporting
- Track oil testing program
- Spearhead implementation of and operate equipment management module
Education Requirements: - Minimum high school
- Prefer two year technical degree
Experience Requirements: - Prior Heavy Construction Equipment service management experience desired
- Working knowledge of heavy equipment parts desired
- Automotive dealer parts and service management experience acceptable
Special Skills Desired: - Microsoft Excel - basic
- Microsoft Windows - basic understanding
- Familiarity and proficiency with 10 key and alphanumeric key pads
